StraCon Teams With Imagine One For V-22 Osprey Training Award
1 May 2012: Imagine One Technology & Management, Ltd. has been awarded a $39.5M contract to provide training, financial, technical and management support services for the PMA275 Joint Program Office Training Integrated Product Team (IPT). StraCon is teamed with Imagine One to apply its expertise of V-22 Training and the V-22 Aircraft program to help enforce customer vision, goals, and objectives as it pertains to training Marine Corps and Air Force V-22 pilots, crew chiefs, flight engineers and maintainers.
Team resources will also provide product reviews to include engineering, technical, budget, program management, and analysis tasking; as well as development of recommendations for technical, logistical and life cycle support for the Osprey V-22 Training System. Team Imagine One includes Camber, Valour, Sabre, CSC, and StraCon. Contract performance will run March 2012 through March 2017 with work performed mainly at Patuxent River, MD and other locations including Kirtland AFB, NM and MCAS New River, NC.
The V-22 is a growing military asset for transporting U.S. troops and supplies. More than 145 Osprey tilt rotor aircraft are in operation today. Marine Corps V-22s are deployed in Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and with Marine Expeditionary Units for world-wide contingency operations, while Air Force Special Operations Command V-22s are deployed in support of National mission taskings. StraCon Receives ISO 9001:2008 Certification
April 2, 2012: Fort Worth Texas – StraCon has completed all requirements for quality management ISO 9001:2008 certification by The International Organization for Standardization (ISO). StraCon officially received certification on April 2, 2012. This certification is obtained by companies who consistently provide products and services proven to meet-and-exceed established customer and statutory regulatory requirements. The rigorous certification process included a series of company-wide personnel interviews and in-depth audits and reviews of corporate documents and procedures for quality compliance. Ms. Debbie Paris, President of StraCon, credited StraCon’s achievement to the dedication of the entire StraCon workforce and expressed her appreciation for the “unparalleled teamwork” shown by StraCon personnel. The ISO 9001:2008 certification is valid for three years, with additional periodic internal audits required to ensure compliance consistency.
Imagine One StraCon Joint Venture
June 13, 2011: StraCon Services Group and Imagine One Technology and Management have been notified by the SBA that their Mentor Protégé Agreement has been officially approved. The two companies have formed a Joint Venture “Imagine One StraCon Venture, LLC.”
StraCon Selected For SBA’s E-200 Program
November 10, 2011: StraCon was honored at an e200 graduation ceremony. Congresswoman Eddie Bernice Johnson, Dallas Mayor Mike Rawlings, the SBA Administrator Ms. Karen Mills, and Dallas/Fort Worth SBA District Director Mr. Herbert Austin were in attendance.
April 2011: StraCon and 15 other companies were selected, out of 68 total small businesses, to participate in SBA’s E-200 program for the Dallas/Fort Worth district.
