Medical Insurance Plans
StraCon offers participants a choice between PPO Basic, PPO Premier, and HDHP with HSA healthcare plans through United Healthcare.
Military Veterans’ Benefits
As a complement to TRICARE medical coverage, all retired non-Medicare military now can enroll in a TRICARE Supplement Insurance Plan.
Our dental plan provides preventive and basic care as well as major services, including orthodontia for adults and children.
Our vision plan provides access to quality vision care and helps pay the cost of routine eye exams, eyeglasses and contact lenses.
Health Savings Account (HSA)
StraCon contributes $25 per pay period for employees enrolled in the High Deductible Health Plan and contributing to an HSA.
Flexible Spending Account (FSA)
A Flexible Spending Account (FSA) allows you to set aside pretax dollars from each paycheck to pay for certain IRS approved health and dependent care expenses.
401 (K) Plan
StraCon provides a non-elective contribution of 4% of employee compensation with 100% vesting at the time of contribution. Employees can start their contributions after three months of employment.
Employees are eligible for 11 paid holidays, now including Juneteenth – June 19. If any paid holiday falls on a weekend, that day will be observed on the previous Friday or following Monday.
Paid Time Off (PTO)
PTO is accrued after your start date or upon transfer into a benefits-eligible position. Starting yearly PTO is 96 hours, earning four hours per pay period.
Our Paid Leave policies include Maternity/ Paternity Leave, Jury Duty, Bereavement Leave as well as Federal & State Mandated Leave.
Short Term & Long Term Disability Insurance
Disability coverage protects employees with a portion of their income in the event of illness or injury, disability coverage is provided at no cost to the employees.
Basic Life and AD&D Insurance
StraCon pays the full cost for eligible employees. Employees are automatically covered at one times your annual earnings for Life insurance and AD&D.
Employees enrolled in one of StraCon’s medical plans receive a medical premium incentive by participating in the company’s wellness program.
Accident & Injury Insurance, Cancer Insurance, Employee Assistance Program (EAP), Travel Assistance, Legal Assistance and Telemedicine.
Tuition Assistance Policy
