The CNSP team won the Thompson-Ravitz Award for Excellence in Navy Public Affairs – Best in Show for the unit category. CNSP was the entry that received the highest overall rating from judges and will be recognized with a Best in Show plaque for their crisis communications efforts during the USS Bonhomme Richard fire of July 2020. Nick Groesch, Victoria Ochoa (kglobal), and Karli Yeager played key roles in this plan by creating videos, hosting livestream press conferences, tracking social media around the clock, and conducting a media assessment following the fire.
