New S.T.A.R. Award Recipient

Carey Dryden-Rentz has been a StraCon employee since August 2019 upon her retirement from the Navy. Carey came to StraCon as a proven Project Manager to continue her support of Surface Warfare Schools Command (SWSC), Mayport and LCS. Due to her sustained superior performance, Carey’s duties have continually developed to include managing curriculum design work streams, assignments, schedules, and feedback from end users. This high level of sustained performance has ensured the highest quality standards are met and trends developed that result in continuous training performance improvement for the fleet user.

She is responsible for maintenance and repair relating to facility equipment and site components. Her all-encompassing knowledge of the curriculum design and continuous improvements required at the SWSC facility to ensure successful training has provide SWSC with an invaluable asset. As a result of Carey’s sustained and outstanding performance, she was recognized by the Executive Director of SWSC, Mr. Rich Callas. Carey is being recognized not just for her hard work and sustained high performance but also for the impact she is making on the warfighter and how they train.
