StraCon Awarded PMA-201 Precision Strike Weapons Program Office Contract
StraCon Services Group is proud to announce the award of a 5-year prime contract supporting the Precision Strike Weapons Program Office, PMA-201, a program office under the Program Executive Officer, Unmanned Aviation & Strike Weapons (PEO(U&W)).
PMA-201 is responsible for research, development, acquisition and sustainment of the Navy’s air-to-ground precision guided weapons, for the U.S. Navy and Foreign Military Sales customers. The program office supports the Joint Stand-Off Weapon (JSOW), the Offensive Anit-Service Warfare (OASuW)/Long Range Anit-Ship Missile (LRASM), the Hypersonic Air Launched Offensive Anit-Surface (HALO), Small Diameter Bomb, Increment II (SDB II), Harpoon, Standoff Land Attack Missile Expanded Range (SLAM-ER), general-purpose bombs, aircraft armament-related equipment, and all cartridge/propellant actuated devices.
PMA-201 is organized into multiple teams that consist of a multi-disciplinary group of government and contractor personnel who are collectively responsible for the total life-cycle management of the DoN’s precision strike weapons capabilities. PMA-201 has the largest Foreign Military Sales (FMS) portfolio in NAVAIR with 39 coalition partners.
StraCon provides technical support services through all acquisition phases, including, but not limited to research, design and development, support engineering, test and evaluation, training, aircraft and weapons system modification and repair, in-service engineering across multiple Integrated Product Teams (IPTs). Duties include program/project management, change management, business management, acquisition management, management of GFI, configuration/data management, risk management, support engineering and technical planning, and along with our proven track record of Enhancing Operational Capability, StraCon strives to provide our customers with Excellence In Execution that ultimately advances their mission.
