StraCon wins contract supporting U.S. Navy H-60 Seahawk program

FORT WORTH, Texas – March 13, 2026 – StraCon has secured a $117 million contract from the Department of the Navy to provide five years (base and four one-year option periods) of program management support for the Naval Air Systems Command’s H-60 Multi-Mission Helicopter Program (PMA-299). PMA-299 is a Joint Program Office (JPO) under Program Executive Officer for Air Anti-Submarine Warfare, Assault & Special Mission Programs (PEO(A)). PMA-299 supports multiple Seahawk variants, including the MH-60R and MH-60S. The JPO operates under a cooperative development agreement between PMA-299 and the government of Australia.  As the prime contractor, StraCon will perform the work supporting these platforms at Patuxent River, Maryland, home of NAVAIR headquarters.

The contract positions StraCon in direct support of the Navy’s MH-60R and MH-60S Seahawk fleet, the service’s primary maritime and multi-mission helicopter platforms. StraCon will deliver program and project management support that includes Foreign Military Sales, financial management, acquisition support, analysis, operational planning and modernization efforts. The team also will coordinate integrated logistics and engineering efforts to ensure the H-60 platform maintains operational readiness and technological relevance across its variants.

StraCon is an agile partner supporting Naval Aviation and the Department of War, delivering mission-focused results through a team recognized for its expertise in defense aviation program management and sustainment operations. Its service-oriented leadership model fosters employee engagement and sustains a high standard of delivery aligned with Navy and NAVAIR mission requirements.

“We are proud to join one of the largest aircraft programs in NAVAIR and we are very excited to bring our extensive FMS support capabilities to this team,” said StraCon Chief Strategy Officer Ken Fancher.  “This award highlights StraCon’s focus on supporting critical Major Defense Acquisition Programs (MDAPs) within NAVAIR.”

The contract scope extends beyond domestic operations, providing support to eight partner nations and reinforcing U.S. security cooperation objectives through foreign military sales and sustainment of legacy H-60 variants. The program also advances long-term modernization initiatives, including Service Life Modernization and Future Vertical Lift, extending airframe service life while preparing the Navy for next-generation vertical-lift capabilities.
